This story really gets into the heads of the characters and showcases their friendship in a way I wish more stories would. This episode gets far too little love for the depth of material available to explore, and though this story is short, it definitely does a great job of offering closure for the events of the episode.

Recommended because...

At the end of "Tao of Rodney" there's a kind of Flowers for Algernon moment wherein Rodney realizes he can't make sense anymore out of the work he did while he was on his way to Ascension. This story takes that idea and runs with it. It's long, plotty, fantastic, believable, heartbreaking, awesome, and happymaking, all rolled into one.
