It's got the frontier-feel that I always wanted Atlantis to have, where they'd packed everything they could think of that would be useful in starting a colony, and they make intelligent command decisions. I'm not saying that they aren't ever intelligent on the show... but in this fic they really are the best and the brightest, and it's awesome.
