_"Always Ready" - inside SGA 4:15 "Outcast"_

Ronon walked directly to Rodney's room. "You goin' with him?" he asked
bluntly.

"With him? Who? Where?"

"Sheppard. His father died. Heart attack. He's gonna go back to earth
for the ceremony, right? You goin' with him, or should I?"

"Oh my God, his father died? I - I'll go. I'll talk to Carter. Oh my
God. I can't. The kids planet, the kids - I'll talk to Carter."

"You can't go, let me know, I'll go."

"Yes, yes," Rodney said, distracted. "Of course, John, John. He, he'll
need someone there, with him. I'll talk to Carter right now, but -" He
looked up at Ronon. " - be ready."

"I'm always ready."

Rodney smiled. "Yeah, you so are."

Hey, sweets!

I just took a look at your coding (any user can look at that with the 'edit entries' feature, but they can't actually make any changes if they're not the person who posted) and you have a *lot* of hard coding going on that's messing with the way your entry looks. I think that's where your frustration comes from, yes?

I would go into 'edit entry' and take out everything before Ficlet for a start - that should help. LJ will recognize the hard returns at the end of sentences, so you don't necessarily need to code in breaks. Are you doing the hard coding yourself, or writing in a program that's doing that for you?

We'll figure it out ♥

Coding issues or not, you've got Ronon's voice down pat!

email me, sweets - cate dot writes at gmail dot com - and copy into the email exactly what you posted here. I'll send it back to you with the coding edited xx

I think she's right on the money - and most of all, you're not dumb, duck! That's not part of what's going on here.

What program are you writing your story in? I think that may have something to do with it.

That was a mistake on my part. I skipped one step in my instructions. I sent you an email to fix it. I'm really very sorry!

It looks to me as if you need to copy and paste the whole thing into the HTML tab rather than the rich text.

Does that work?

::hugs::

No, you're not dumb, you've got that analysis perfectly right.

It's the two different ways of posting: HTML, where you need to do all the coding; or rich text, where it does it for you. It looks to me that you're using rich text. So, you can take out the HTML and use the rich text editor (which is a lot like the editors on word processors like MSword) to do things like bold and italics.

Any help?

ps... is there something godlike and glowing at Rodney's crotch? It that an ethereal blowjob I see in your icon? I like!

figured it out, duck, and emailed you back xxx

I like drabbles and i think it takes a lot of talent to really get down to the point and in such a small amount of words.

But you did a fantastic job.

Nicely done!

I'm so glad you posted this here!

but did you edit it? It seems a little different from what I read in your journal.

Nice episode tag!

Does this look right?

Looks fine to me now, Max. (Hey, it only took me two weeks to figure out formatting and after six months I'm still googling HTML codes). *laughs*

Loved the ficlet. When I was watching it never occurred to me that Rodney asked Ronon to go with Sheppard, but it makes perfect sense.
