I would ask anyone who decides to drop out to leave a comment or send a message and say so. Just so we know.

And in light of recent events, everyone who wants to sign up belatedly for this SGA's Last Season Tagathon is welcome. (ETA: To keep it fair and square, you would get four of the five wildcards.) Just drop a comment here.

The deadline for Ghost in the Machine is on August 29, the one for The Shrine on September 5.

I might like to get in on the action, though I would like to know how many wildcards we get docked? If it's all of them, then I don't think I can participate, but I definitely want it to be fair to the people who started out from the beginning.

Perhaps a period of time to write tags for the episodes whose due dates have already passed?

Good point. I'll go include this in the entry afterwards. I think this is actually going to be easy. The deadlines of for four episodes have passed so far, meaning for one fifth of the season. So, everyone who joins in now gets four instead of five wildcards. Makes sense, right?

I was actually thinking of suggesting at the time the community was about to start that, if people are coming up on their wildcards being up for whatever reason, maybe they could write a tag for an episode they used one on and earn one back? Just a thought, totally thrown out there with no personal investment in the answer whatsoever :)

I can imagine! *g* I like the idea itself, but it would get really complicated to keep track of the number of wildcards everyone still has. Plus, I'm not fond of the idea of changing the rules in the middle of the thing.
I'd suggest that we take this into consideration for the next season, but-- *sigh*

I think I'm going to have to withdraw, sadly. School is kicking my ass right now (seriously, THREE english classes, what was I thinking, omg).

I would say that I'd try to actually do this thing next season, but...
