Hackers

"Rodney, are you sure you can do this?" John whispered, looking up and down the corridor and then back at Rodney.

"Of course. I've hacked into Elizabeth's command code before. You remember don't you, when you and she were married. Only-you were being inhabited by other consciousnesses at the time, and-"

"I remember, Rodney."

"Oh, well, no problem, it's just taking a bit more-"

"But that time you only had to crack the general code, we're looking specifically for the game room."

"Yes, thank you Colonel Obvious, I'm well aware of that," Rodney bit back. He continued to type on the computer tablet connected to the crystal array on the door.

"Are you sure you can do this without Elizabeth finding out?" John asked, his voice low and needling.

"I said I could," Rodney hissed.

"Can you guaranty it?"

Rodney looked over at him. "Guaranty? No, but-"

"Well maybe we should just give it up then."

"What? You heard Zelenka. Lorne's trying to starve his people. We can't just leave them like that. And as soon as I download the data to my private network, we'll be home free. Ah, almost there-"

Just then, an alarm sounded and the crystal array began flashing. "What the-oh, I am not believing this," Rodney sputtered. "She inserted an alarm function?"

"Jesus, McKay, what do we do now?"

Rodney quickly disconnected the tablet from the array and turned to John. "Run!"
